In June 2018 we carried out a felting contract on a Workshop Roof in Cranleigh, Surrey.
The asphalt roof was in a very bad condition. It had blisters and ripples in it and was leaking so badly the area below couldn’t be used.
After cleaning and preparing the roof a layer of 3B and 2 no. layers of high performance polyester based elastomeric roofing felt were fitted to ensure the roof is water-tight. The cap sheet is finished in Grey mineral. As you can see from the pictures below the transformation is remarkable.
During the heatwave in June 2018 we replaced 42 no. old rooflights with new translucent roof sheets in a warehouse roof in Morden, Surrey. This increased the natural daylight transmission as well as ensuring the rooflights weren’t leaking.
The existing roof fixings were rusting and we therefore replaced them with new precision formed fixings with integral heads.
In addition we fitted 2 no. flashings to ensure pipes that protrude through the roof were effectively sealed and removed 1 no. redundant pipe and fitted flashings over the exposed hole to ensure it is effectively sealed.
During June 2018 we re-clad 2 no. walls on a leisure centre roof in Lancing, West Sussex.
The original wall covering had been damaged by vandals. We fixed spacer purlins to the walls to provide a framework for new single skin steel cladding to be fitted. The cladding was finished with new coping flashings at the top of the cladding and new trim flashings around the vents and door.
We also had to replace a lead flashing (that had been stolen) with a new steel flashing and we carried out repairs to holes in the single ply roof surface.
During February and March 2018 and whilst working around the snow and bad weather, we replaced 52 no. old rooflights with new translucent roof sheets to a warehouse roof in Borough Green, Sevenoaks. This increased the natural daylight transmission dramatically as well as ensuring the rooflights weren’t leaking.
In addition we fitted 20 no. overlay sheets to cover over cracked and damaged sheets that were causing leaks, as well as covering over any of the original sheets that were delaminating badly.
Upon completion the roof was leak free and the appearance was enhanced as the client was trying to let the building.

In between the heavy rain during February we carried out a felting contract on a warehouse roof in East Grinstead.

We recently undertook a contract on a warehouse roof in Worthing, West Sussex which consisted of replacing the old translucent rooflights and carrying out random repairs to the roof to cure the existing leaks.
The old rooflights were dirty and were leaking as the seals had broken down and they had holes in them. They were replaced using new matching profile translucent roof sheets. These were secured using new fixings and are now water-tight and in addition provide much more natural light within the building.
We also cleaned large quantities of moss and old seagull nest debris from the roof and gutters and removed it from site.
We then fitted overlay sheets to cover over any damaged sheets that were causing leaks and re-dressed the flashings around the tank housing.
The first 2 pictures show the difference in light transmission between the new and old rooflights. #news #rooflights ... See MoreSee Less

During November 2017 we undertook a contract in Littlehampton, West Sussex. The work needed to be carried out as the Industrial guttering was leaking and water was running down the wall near to electrical equipment. The gutter was cleaned and prepared and then we fitted a new flexible gutter liner complete with stop-ends and outlets to the complete gutter. The flashings to the outside wall was also in poor condition so we fitted new purpose manufactured steel flashings to ensure the area was effectively sealed. #news #guttering ... See MoreSee Less
